ENIn the last couple of weeks we were working on a new notification system in our system and today we have launched the last part of it – the notification for new and updated feeds and taxonomies.
As you probably know, Koongo right now covers over 500 different product search and price comparison websites from 50 countries all over the world. The Feeds are splitted into Collections which are in turn associate to License keys. Basically we distinguish between two types of Collections – Country collections and Custom collections. Country collections contain all the feeds operating in the given coutry and this is the collection you have to define in order details of the Koongo connector. Custom collections are destined for specific needs of Koongo Industry partners.
As we are continuously adding new feeds and taxonomies and updating the present ones, it is important for you as a Koongo user to have up-to-date feed layouts and taxonomies in order to fulfill the latest requirements of feed authorities which may change during the time. For this purpose we have added the buttons Update feeds and Udpate collection directly into Koongo Connector. By clicking on these buttons you download the latest feed layouts and taxonomies from the Koongo server. However, this action is conditioned by valid Support & Updates period.
And during the valid Support & Updates period you get the notification emails with the list of added and updated feeds in your Collection. Let us know what you think about this feature!
